Jordan English is an American Entrepreneur and Investor. English is the manager of 7.SUNS and Chief and Founder of the New Brave World ecosystem. All of the Companies he’s worked for have achieved notable success and 27 of the creators he’s supported have sold their business to a global brand or category leader.

My greatest achievement over the past 40 years has been earning the title of Entrepreneur. I can’t claim the road was steady. In a few more seasons than I care to admit, I allowed myself to slip into the role of a Mercenary, something equally fun but not more fulfilling than a Big Mac.

Entrepreneurship is about much more than making money. It creates. It sparks trends, shapes cultures, and shifts lifestyles. It influences law and politics. It generates jobs. It can create disparity or it can create, protect, and promote equality. It is the power-filled heart of our identity – a microcosm that reflects who we are and how we live – and is, in turn, shaped by the changing consciousness of our larger and globally connected society. And as society’s true influencers move towards collective responsibility and shared vision – which is no doubt occurring now – businesses must respond with new models.

I’ve spent the past ten years focused on helping emerging growth Entrepreneurs stabilize revenue. Revenue is important, but people are much more important. The planet is much much more important. Protecting against inequality is extremely important. If you’re not clever enough to do all of that while enjoying the benefits of entrepreneurship then, I’m sorry, you may be a Mercenary, but you’re not living to your potential. You certainly are not an Entrepreneur and you’re missing out on the best part of everything.

The Creators economy:

My journey as an Entrepreneur kicked off its third season with the launch of a series of Venture Funds and I’m extremely proud of what New Brave World’s incredible team and Intelligence Council is bringing to life through New Finance Studio, New Technology Lab, and Atmosphere.

New Brave World adopted the tagline “Inventing the Future”, but you probably know that the third life of the internet and the birth of its new intelligence isn’t about a portfolio of jpegs that look like monkeys - and it was actually invented long ago. It’s simply that its recent accessibility has rapidly (re)defined who we are, shifting global finance infrastructure and providing for new types of community, value creation or exchange, and digital ownership or brokerage. Inter-world democracy.

This social framework is pre-roman empire. What the Metaverse is doing is placing a value on information (more than your emoji), solving the issues proposed by James Clerk Maxwell in Maxwell's Demon, delivering on the promise mainstreamed by social economist Richard Florida in Rise of the Creative Class, and meeting the exact definition of Necessity and Opportunity presented by Jared Diamond in Guns, Germs, and Steel.

This is not a game or a test. This is not the future. This is a current trillion-dollar annual opportunity according to Morgan Stanley, Bloomberg, Andreason Horrowitz, and every other financial institution that has created ( or limited ) the potential of your value.

I could continue but the only thing you need to remember about this new civilization is that everything is new, less than 5% will be facilitated on a device, screen, or silly glasses, and all of our lives are about to transform more than ever considered possible. It’s not about the rainbow with a pot of gold, it’s about supporting the people brave enough to make the rainbow no longer exists.
